5th Annual Jog for a Dog

A HUGE thank you to everyone who took part in our 5th annual Jog for a Dog 5k run. The event took place on a gloriously sunny Easter Monday at the beautiful Castletown House in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, over 500 people participated in our annual event.  Well done to the committee who work tirelessly for months putting this event together and setting up on the day, and a special thanks to Miriam O’Callaghan who gave her time up once again this year to start all of our participants off. 4th Annual “Green Tie Ball”

What a night at our 4th annual “Green Tie Ball” which took place at the Clayton Silver Springs hotel in Cork. Huge well done and thank you to the committee of parents who organize this every year and to all the volunteers who help out throughout the night! After a lovely drinks reception and dinner, the lovebugs had us up on the dance floor in no time and kept us going all night! The ladies and gentlemen all looking fabulous and loads of laughs were had! Now that everyone has recovered from the evening, we can’t wait to see what next year’s ball brings us!       ...

Our gorgeous H and J litters are nearing their time….time to start their newest journey as they set off soon to meet their new families!!! The fun and excitement as all the new parents wait patiently to see what new puppy will be theirs. Puppiessss!!

It’s all about the puppies this week( if only every week was a puppies week !! )  We have the E,F,G and the J litter! Graduating class August 2018

A huge congratulations to the graduating class of August 2018, 9 fantastic families went back home with their newly qualified dogs. We can’t thank all the people involved in getting all our dogs to this stage, parents, puppy walkers, dog borders and of course our trainers! All the dogs will go home for a short break where our trainers will be travelling to the parents to do attachments between the kids and their dog, we wish all the parents the very best of luck and look forward to seeing lots of pictures and stories from all your new adventures.         ...

Waiting List now closed…

It is with great regret that we have to announce that we are closing our waiting lists,since our foundation in 2011, we have grown to be now the largest provider of this service in the country and we do not have the financial or human resources to expand to reach the excessive demand. We have been the only list open for the last two years and have kept our list open as long as we possibly could but it has now become unsustainable with the wait for one of our puppies now 2.5 years. ...

Green Tie Ball

  April 2nd is Autism Awareness Day, and to celebrate this My Canine Companion are doing it in style! My Canine Companion’s first ever “Green Tie” ball is happening this Saturday April 2nd! Held at the fantastic Clayton Hotel Silver Springs hotel in Cork,a drinks reception starting at 7pm, then a 4 course meal, with entertainment from The Vendettas,followed by a DJ and late bar, plus a fantastic raffle! The ball is being organized by parents and volunteers from My Canine Companion and we are delighted to have the Lord Mayor of Cork attend our drinks reception and support our event.   ...
